The government may think of creating digital centres that will combine ICT, agriculture, and educational services in a single location for the benefit of individuals all throughout the nation.
ICT and the Digital Economy PS Eng. John Tanui expressed his appreciation for their idea regarding the concentration of vital services to digital hubs that will be easily accessible even in rural locations when speaking to a delegation from an organisation known as PlanetOne.
The PS stated that a blended strategy for diverse services can have a significant influence throughout the nation and that the government is eager to construct 1,450 digital centres at the Ward level.
“We are interested in programmes attracting national attention and we want to take advantage of experiences like yours to ensure that the digital hubs concept is implemented effectively,” said the PS.
