Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja is currently appearing before the Senate Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations at Bunge Towers in Nairobi.

The session is being chaired by Isiolo Senator Fatma Dullo, who leads the committee overseeing national security matters.

Kanja is accompanied by senior police leadership, including Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat, Deputy Inspector General of the Administration Police Service Gilbert Masengeli, and Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin.

The appearance forms part of an ongoing engagement between the National Police Service and the Senate on matters relating to security, policing, and national safety.
