Raila Odinga, the Azimio flagbearer, would be the most popular presidential candidate if elections were held today, according to an opinion poll conducted by Infotrak Research and Consulting.
The poll which was conducted in all 290 seats found out that 42% of respondents would vote for Raila while 38% would vote for Deputy President William Ruto.
According to the poll, Raila is expected to receive 9.3 million votes while Ruto is expected to receive 8.4 million votes.
According to the poll, neither of the two contenders would receive fifty plus one votes to be proclaimed the winner.
Raila will lead in 20 counties, while Ruto will lead in 16 of them, according to the report.
The survey has a one-percentage-point margin of error.
Between the 23rd and the 27th of May, a total of 9,000 people were questioned.
