More information has emerged regarding Stacey Marie Parker, the lady tied to the Amazon Web Worker Ponzi scam. – By Gerald Gekara.

Stacey, 50, was detained on Friday, May 28, after arriving from the United States at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Stacey is a psychotherapist by profession and resides in Houston, Texas, according to her Facebook page. She has two children and is married to Everard Jimmy Blake.

Stacey, who has a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, was named one of Houston’s Top 30 Influential Women in 2018.

She is a full-time counselor specializing in mental health in Houston, and she is committed to her professional life of assisting and supporting individuals in need.

Her social media posts portray her as someone who lives a lavish lifestyle and is preoccupied with touring the world. For example, she boasts visiting France, South Africa, and Kenya in the last three years, among other places.

“The world is a book, and people who do not travel read only one page,” she writes in one of her posts.

She is also a sports fan who enjoys going to football games, particularly those held in Texas City.

According to the DCI, Stacey was apprehended after serious crimes detectives conducted an investigation that linked her to the ponzi scam.

Investors were deceived into putting their money in an online software known as Amazon Web Worker in a well-coordinated and managed hoax on the idea that they would make money.

Detectives managed to link Stacey to the syndicate, after painstaking investigations revealed that she had pay-bill accounts in her name, that had a balance of Sh50 Million, believed to be deposits made by the unsuspecting victims.
