Jamaican Reggae Artiste Richie Spice Arrives In Kenya Ahead Of Highly-Anticipated Concert

Jamaican reggae artist Richell Bonner better known as Richie Spice arrived in Kenya before his much-anticipated KICC concert this weekend.

The music legend, whose groundbreaking song ‘Earth A Run Red’ became a classic smash across Kenya, arrived at the JKIA Airport around 8 a.m. today and was greeted by a swarm of journalists.

In an interview with Hot 96 FM’s Patrick Igunza, the singer stated his enthusiasm at returning to Kenya for the fourth time and seemed optimistic about the upcoming event.

The ‘Gideon Boot hitmaker is returning to Kenya after his last engagement in 2019, where he delighted fans at a sold-out gig.

Richie Spice will headline the ‘Good Vibes Festival’ at the KICC grounds on May 27, 2023.

According to the organisers, he will perform with a live band alongside ‘No Retreat’ star Cathy Matete. Roots Band Connection, a prominent reggae band, will also support him.

Richie Spice is also slated to perform in Kisumu on May 28, Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o confirmed.

A poster advertising the event posted on Twitter by the county boss indicates that the dancehall artist will have a live performance at the Mamboleo Show Grounds.

“It’s coming home! Get ready for May 28th for a mega live performance by Richie Spice at the Mamboleo ASK Grounds,” Nyong’o said.

The concert has been sponsored by the Kisumu County Government and Ziva Empire.
