Kenyan content creator and comedian Jaymo Ule Msee has announced plans to replace Edwin Sifuna as the next Senator of Nairobi.
Through a lengthy Facebook post on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Jaymo said Nairobi needs a person like him.
He went on to explain that being the senator of Nairobi, things will be cool, the kind of cool that feels like someone finally switched on fresh air in a stuffy room.
According to him, the city needs fresh thinking and fewer theatrics. He suggested that the current leadership talks too much and solves too little.
“Nairobi needs to release the ‘vocal’ Senator Sifuna to focus more on his Kenya Moja White Elephant Project and his watermelon-laced leadership as a Sec Gen in ODM,” he posted on Facebook.

He went on to describe what he called “educated noise” as the reason why Nairobians have not benefited from the Senator position.
“Many people get confused by the senator’s ‘educated noise’, mistaking it for ‘intelligent’ vocal representation,” he wrote.
He insisted that behind all that energy is a man chasing political dreams instead of Nairobi’s growth.
In typical Jaymo fashion, he didn’t stop there. He threw in a whole paragraph about Nairobi needing to “rejuvenate and reactivate its lost glory”.
He also said the coming days will see him unveil something big.
“In the coming days my team and I will roll out our Nairobi Innovation and oversight manifesto guided by the possibilities in our constitution,” he shared.
Jaymo believes Nairobi can be freed from what he described as its “tribal and political captors,” promising a city driven by innovation and better living standards.
He ended with a confident slogan: “Nairobi vile inafaa!”
And just like that, Nairobi’s political chatter got a little louder, and a whole lot more entertaining.
