Renowned religious leader, Bishop Allan Kiuna has passed away at the AAR Hospital in Nairobi where he had been receiving treatment for multiple myeloma cancer.

He was 59 years old.

Bishop Kiuna was a co-founder and senior pastor of the influential Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Nairobi.

He was known for his powerful sermons and transformative leadership, which made JCC a global brand.

Diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer in 2018/2019, Bishop Kiuna had been battling the disease bravely, inspiring many with his unwavering faith and determination.

Despite his health challenges, he continued to preach with zeal, power, and conviction, touching the lives of countless people around the world.

Bishop Kiuna is survived by his wife, Bishop Kathy Kiuna, also a senior pastor at JCC. The couple has been instrumental in building the church into a global ministry.

Many tributes have poured in online, with friends and followers mourning the loss of a beacon of faith and strength. Ezekiel Mutua, CEO of Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), described Bishop Kiuna as a powerful preacher who served his purpose in his generation.

“My sincere condolences to Rev. Kathy and the entire family, the JCC fraternity, and the church at large. May Bishop’s soul rest in peace,” Mutua said.

Bishop Kiuna’s passing leaves a void in the lives of many who were inspired by his faith and leadership. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations through the work of Jubilee Christian Church and his family.
