Police are investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed and seriously wounded by two other men believed to be members of LGBTQ while in a lodging in the city centre.
Police say two men first booked a room in the lodging before they were joined by a third one.
While therein, a fight broke out among them before two descended on one stabbing him in the stomach and escaped.
But one of the men was later arrested as they tried to escape and told police they disagreed while therein on the way forward prompting the fight and stabbing.
He told police they are members of the club. Police said the injured man was taken to hospital where he is under observation while the suspect will be taken to court to face various charges.
