The company behind the popular Jim Beam bourbon will halt production at its primary Kentucky distillery for the entirety of next year.
In a statement on Sunday, the firm said the site will remain closed as it undertakes planned “site enhancements” and capital investments.
“We continually assess production levels to best meet consumer demand and have aligned with our team on our production volumes for 2026,” the statement added.
The pause comes amid a broader climate of uncertainty for Kentucky’s famed bourbon distillers, partly due to shifting international trade policies under the Trump administration.
