Billionaire Jimmy Wanjigi has come out to refute claims that he promised Marathoner Eliud Kipchoge a 6B Private Jet once he overcomes the INEOS 159 Challenge.

“Congratulations!! You have done us proud #Eliud159. Plans are underway with @GulfstreamAero, the jet will be deliver to #eliudkipchoge before 29th November 2019.” read the tweet.

Jimmy, who spoke on the phone with journalists, claimed that the twitter account that spread the message was not his. He, however, expressed his gratitude for Kipchoge for his great achievement.

According to his lawyer, Willis Otieno, it was discovered that the billionaire does not communicate through social media, therefore dismissing both @JimmyWanjigi and @Jimmywanjigi1 as parody accounts.

Jimmy, however, said he would like to meet the owner of the parody account for a cup of tea, implying that there might be an opportunity for his services.

“I actually want to meet the person behind the tweet over a cup of tea because his creativity has shaped conversations of Kenyans online,” he added.
