JKUAT announces Re-opening dates for all students

During a special senate meeting chaired on November 18 2020. The institution resolved to open after seven months of closure – By Stephanie Mwangi

The administration decided to adopt the face to face learning for fourth third and second years thought they recently admitted the first years

All colleges will reopen on November 23rd where students will be in session for twelve days to undertake practicals and exams till December 4th

All students will be required to adhere to the ministry of health covid 19 containment measures

All first years and post graduate students were admitted on 9th November

The education CS Magoha gave the green light for universities to reopen on October 5th 2020. All learning institutions were required to monitor the temperature, ensure hygiene is top notch and also maintaining the social distance.

According to the ministry of education regulation the institution was supposed to be linked to a health facility before reopening actions would be taken if the laid guidelines were not adhered to.

3.1, 2.2, September 2018 intake and 3.2 2017 intake September will join them

For the science courses all 4.1 will resume studies.

For the College of Human Resource Development. 4.1 students will reopen and also first year’s semester one and two diploma will join in.
