JSC Sets Timetable For Judges’ Interviews

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced the timetable for interviews to fill vacant positions within the court rooms.

In an update on the progress, JSC has slotted successful applicants for the position of the Court of Appeal Judges to avail themselves for interviews from July 7 to July 27,2022.

Applicants for the High Court Judges will be interviewed from July 18 and end of September 19,2022.

All the interviews will be conducted at the JSC boardroom, Reinsurance Plaza, Taifa Road, Nairobi. The interviews will be on a daily basis from 9:00am on the stipulated dates.

However, due to restricted space in the boardroom and adherence to Covid-19 regulations, the commission informs members of the public that live coverage from media houses will be restricted.

Those scheduled to be interviewed by the Commission include 22 serving judges including High Court Principal Judge Lydia Achode, Alfred Mabeya, the presiding judge of the Commercial division and Judges Abida Ali Aroni, Eboso Benard Mweresa, Githua Cecilia Wathaiya, Kimaru Luka Kiprotich.

Others include Makau Onesmus Ndumbuthi, Mativo John Mutinga, Justice Meoli Christine Wanjiku, Muchemi Florence Nyaguthii, Musyoka William Musya, Muthuku Francis Gikonyo, Nduma Mathews Nderi, Ngaah Jairus, Ngenye Grace Wangui, Ochieng’ Frederick Andago, Ogola Eric Kennedy Okumu, Okong’o Samson Odhiambo, Ong’udi Hedwig Imbosa, Radido Stephen Okiyo and Sergon Joseph Kiplagat.

Only six of the thirty candidates will be appointed.
