Jubilee NDC Set To Endorse Raila

The Jubilee Party will hold its much-anticipated National Delegates Conference (NDC) on Friday to determine the party’s course as it prepares for the August 9 elections.

The two-day NDC, which concludes on Saturday, will be hosted in Nairobi’s Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

Priorities on the agenda include the evaluation, creation, and/or ratification of all party policies.

According to an earlier notice from the party’s secretary General Raphael Tuju, the newly proposed seal, symbol, and flag of the party would also be examined at the NDC.

This comes at a time when the ruling party remains largely divided, with numerous high-profile defections, including the exit of Deputy Party Leader William Ruto, who fell out with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

During a recent meeting in Sagana, President Kenyatta openly supported Azimio la Umoja’s presidential nominee Raila Odinga to succeed him when his 10-year term expires.
