Judges Meet In Mombasa For Their Annual Colloquium

    Kenyan judges gathered at the Judges’ Colloquium at Whitesands, Mombasa from 9am today.

    Organised by the Judiciary Training Institute, the Colloquium, according to Justice P. Kihara Kariuki, the Director of the institute, was established as an annual event for Kenya’s judges to interact with each other and their counterparts abroad on the common challenges of judicial practice.

    Kenya Law, the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA) are among the law institutions presenting at the ongoing Judges Colloquium.

    Justice Isaac Lenaola, a judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya, who was among the seven-judge bench that heard the Azimio Coalition’s election results petition, will be among the judges in attendance.

    The colloquium will begin on Wednesday 6 September and end on Friday 8 September.
