Juventus have sacked head coach Igor Tudor after a run of eight winless matches, confirming that NextGen coach Massimo Brambilla will take temporary charge ahead of their Serie A clash with Udinese.

The club announced the decision on Monday morning, ending Tudor’s brief tenure just seven months after his appointment. “Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as head coach of the Men’s First Team,” read the official statement. The Croatian coach’s backroom staff were also dismissed.

Tudor’s exit follows a string of disappointing results, including three consecutive defeats and four matches without scoring. Juventus’ last victory came on September 13, when they edged Inter 4-3 at the Allianz Stadium. Since then, performances have deteriorated sharply, leaving the Turin side eighth in the Serie A table with only 12 points from eight games.

The former defender replaced Thiago Motta in March 2025, winning 10 of his 24 matches in charge. Both Tudor and Motta remain under contract with the club until June 2027, meaning Juventus may face a significant payout.

In a statement, the club expressed gratitude for Tudor’s professionalism and commitment, while confirming that Brambilla, who currently manages Juventus’ NextGen squad, will lead first-team training sessions and oversee the upcoming fixture against Udinese.

Tudor’s departure adds to the growing instability surrounding the Bianconeri, who are struggling to rediscover consistency both domestically and in Europe. For Juventus supporters, hopes now rest on Brambilla’s interim leadership to steady the team and restore momentum before the international break.
