Police are investigating an incident in which a 67-year-old man is accused of murdering his 54-year-old wife over adultery allegations.
According to investigations, the man from Navakholo, Kakamega County, struck his wife in what police described as a suspected love triangle.
The deceased, identified as Rose Atieno had paid a visit to a cobbler, who is their neighbor, only for her husband to attack her.
Alfred Wafula, the accused’s brother said she was assaulted with a jembe as the suspect accused her of adultery.
County Police Commander Joseph Kigen has confirmed the suspect will be arraigned after the investigation is completed.
