Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on Kenyans to reject attempts by the government to vaccinate livestock.
In a press briefing, the Azimio leader said that the government is trying to advance foreign agenda by attempting to vaccinate Kenyans livestock.
“We wish to state that from the very onset of the proposed vaccination program, I saw signs of a sinister motive driven by a foreign agenda. This does not augur well for the country’s pastoralist groups or for the nation as a whole,” Kalonzo said.
The Wiper Party leader claims that the vaccination program is purported to be an attempt by the government to champion ‘environmental protection efforts.’
He further alleged that the vaccination plan is being championed by international research institutions aiming to introduce gene-modifying drugs into Kenyan livestock, purportedly to reduce methane emissions into the atmosphere.
“Animals release gas into the atmosphere as a normal biological result of digesting processes,” Kalonzo said dismissing claims allegedly made by the research institutions.
