Kalonzo Denies Meeting Raila Over Azimio Talks

One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi have now denied meeting with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga to discuss a prospective coalition pact.

In an angry outburst towards a local daily, Pauline Gatabaki, the Communications Lead of the SKM Command Centre denied any meetings with the ODM leader.

“Even after repeatedly been told there was no breakfast and that #OKA Principals negotiate not in hotels but openly and honestly, you continue to persist pushing a false narrative regarding @skmusyoka. What’s your agenda?”

When they set camp in Makambani, Lunga Lunga, and Kwale counties, Musyoka stated that it was a fortuitous meeting at the Tamarind hotel that resulted in greetings but nothing more.

He maintained that if conversations are to take place, they must be organized and all-inclusive, with the goal of equitable collaboration.

The Wiper leader added that he cannot be rushed into an agreement since he has been “betrayed enough” to never trust again.
