Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka revealed on Saturday that the outfit’s leader, Raila Odinga, will create the shadow cabinet once he returns from his trip in India and other countries.
According to Kalonzo, the cabinet will have a whole budget that they will present.
“We have only this country to call home, we have nowhere else to go. We must have each other’s back and make sure the government delivers to the people,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo remarked that the coalition will undoubtedly perform its opposition role to the best of its ability and curb government excesses, and he requested President Ruto not to become enraged when they do their work.
Speaking at the burial ceremony of the late Stanley Aluma Omollo, the father of Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma, Kalonzo noted that the coalition will play its opposition role to the best of its ability.
“We want to ask the President not to get angry when we do our duty.”
