Kalonzo Threatens To Expose Corrupt Leaders After Insults

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has threatened to name and shame corrupt leaders who continue to tarnish his name and tarnish the image of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party.

Speaking in Kathiani, Machakos County, on Tuesday, Kalonzo chastised political leaders in the opposing camp for engaging in “insults and name-calling politics.”

“Wale wengine wakiendelea kunitusi, I will tell the country who they are. That is a warning shot, you know that I don’t lie…I will expose them for who they are,” he said.

He called out Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for abandoning Azimio in favor of the Deputy President William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza camp, accusing him of tarnishing his name.

At the same time, Kalonzo rallied support for Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and running mate Martha Karua ahead of the August elections, claiming that they have the best interests of the country at heart.

He emphasized the importance of women’s leadership in shaping the country’s politics as he urged the Machakos electorate to support women leaders running for various positions in the county.

“I want to assure you that if you vote for Karua, you have voted for Kalonzo.”

The former vice president was accompanied by Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Robert Mbui (Kathiani), Woman Rep Joyce Kamene Kasimbi, and gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti, among others.
