Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) met with Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja on Wednesday to discuss policy interventions to improve the ease of doing business, create an enabling environment for businesses to grow, and increase the county’s revenues.
KAM stated in a statement that they want to be proactive in making Nairobi County more appealing to investors by easing the cost of doing business.
“We look forward to mapping out areas of partnership to create a conducive environment for manufacturers among other investors,” part of the statement read.
The association also stated that it is committed to enhancing the competitiveness of local industries and is willing to work with Nairobi County to provide solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
