A Kamiti Maximum Prison Warden has been slapped with Ksh 1M bond for attempted murder.
Sheila Okwomi was alleged to have threatened to kill one Nancy Njeru at the said facility on April 8, 2021.
According to the prosecution, on November 10, 2021 the Ms. Njeru, a nutritionist at the prison filed a report at the Kimiti Command radio studio that Ms. Okwomi threatened to kill her.
The prosecution further argues that on April 9, 2021 Nancy made another complain at the Serious Crime Unit Office that Ms. Sheila had attempt to kill her by pouring petroleum on her while on official vaccination the previous day.
She denied the charge before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo and was released on Ksh 600,000.
