An elderly man has been charged with committing an indecent act with a 6-year-old girl. Mr. Peter Kisungura was said to have touched the genitals of a minor on March 6 at Kangemi.
The complainant told police officers from Kabete police station that was a habit Peter had formed and would offer ugali, cabbage, and fish as a ransom.
On that fateful day, the innocent girl was called by Kisungura to his house and as the custom was, he touched she but this time around the minor experienced more pain.
Minor’s young sister was peeping through a hole on the door and saw Kisungura fondling her sister’s genital organ. She rushed to their house and spilled the beans to her mother who rushed to the scene and with the help of neighbors escorted Mr. Kisungura to Kabete police station.
The accused pleaded guilty of the accusation in a Kibera law court before principal magistrate Derrick Kuto. Kisungura is expected in court again tomorrow for facts reading and sentencing.
