KANU ‘Super Manifesto’ To Tackle Poverty

The Kenya African National Union presented its election manifesto on Wednesday, vowing to address the country’s problems.

KANU leader Gideon Moi pledged Kenyans during a news conference in Nairobi that they will investigate all ailing elements and restore dignity in the country.

“Ours is a commitment, not a promise, to care for the poor and marginalized. A dedication to removing the constraints that prohibit the majority from succeeding, as well as a commitment to restoring the dignity of living inside our boundaries, “He stated.

The KANU leader detailed all of the industries he claims he would focus on if he wins the country’s top seat in August in his newly-announced plan “back to business manifesto of change.”

He stated that they will address the issue of national debt and close the corruption loopholes that are causing the debt ceiling to skyrocket.

“We put a special emphasis on a sustainable economy, ICT, agriculture, public finance, and national debt, which we will progressively reduce from 16 percent to 11 percent over the next five years, and, of course, corruption,” he said.

Second, he stated that he will improve decentralization and social structures beginning with the lowest level of government.

Mr. Moi stated that their plan of action is designed to establish a road to the envisioned resilient and developed Kenya.

He claims that they would give leadership that will properly handle the nation’s affairs with competency, responsibility, and transparency, therefore creating a free, secure, unified, and wealthy society established on the rule of law.
