A fire has destroyed a section of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) buildings on Nairobi’s Harry Thuku Road.
According to reports, the fire began shortly before 6 a.m in the canteen area of the broadcasting station.
Due to a delay with the Nairobi County fire engines, the morning blaze was put out by police and G4S personnel.
According to sources, the on-duty personnel were evacuated, and no casualties were reported.
The source of the fire is still unknown, as is the extent of the property damage.
