KCPE Kicks Off In 28,000 Centers

The 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) tests began on Monday, with the Ministry of Education assuring the exams’ integrity. 

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) tests began at 8.30 a.m. throughout 28,248 exam centers. 

George, the Education Cabinet Secretary, observed the opening of sealed examination containers in Kakamega before supervising the transfer of exam materials to regional locations.

He promised that materials had been successfully given to 1,225,507 applicants when the exam began across the country. 

His colleague in the Interior, Fred Matiangi, oversaw the drill in Machakos, while ICT’s Joe Mucheru was in Kajiado.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret, in a paid advertorial have urged thd pupils to write the papers with confidence and assured them of success, if they don’t involve themselves in irregularities.

The President message extols the virtue of hard work and integrity and said there are opportunities to pursue their goals whatever the result.
