Successful candidates for the General Service Officer (GSO) – Graduate Degree Holders cadets on 16 January 2022 reported for training at the Kenya Military Academy.
The cadets were selected during the KDF country wide recruitment in November 2021.
While at the Academy they will undergo 12 months of foundational military training before reporting to their respective units and bases for further specialized training and deployment.
During the document verification exercise, 57 recruits with counterfeit calling letters were apprehended and handed over to the National Police Service for due process.
