A Kenya Defence Forces soldier and his girlfriend were last night arrested over the murder of another KDF female soldier at their house in Mihango, Utawala area.
The slain soldier identified as Phoebe Kaele was based at Modica Garisson while his boyfriend identified as John Gitau was based at Embakasi Garisson.
Phoebe had arrived home unannounced and found another woman’s shoes at Gitau’s place, which prompted a quarrel.
This degenerated to fighting before Gitau stabbed her in the neck killing her.
He confessed the incident to a colleague who then called the Police.
Gitau was arrested alongside the other woman who was in the house as the body was moved to the mortuary.
