KeNHA Announces Closure Of Thika Superhighway For 4 Days

KeNHA assured the public that diversions were already in place prior to the closure.

A section of the Thika Superhighway will be closed from Saturday, February 15, 2025, to Tuesday, February 18, 2025, between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., to allow for the construction of a footbridge.

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced that the busy highway will be partially closed at Juja Highpoint (Centurion).

KeNHA assured the public that diversions were already in place prior to the closure.

Following this, Nairobi-bound traffic will use the diversion behind Lexo petrol station before rejoining the superhighway.

On the other hand, Thika-bound traffic will use a diversion behind Centurion Hotel before rejoining the superhighway.

KeNHA urged motorists to exercise caution and follow the proposed traffic management plan.
