The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) continues to foster good governance especially by encouraging open tendering process.

Tellingly, the South Rift Region last week undertook a tender opening exercise at the Regional Office Boardroom in a session led by Surveyor, David Okuthe, and Principal Supply Chain Officer John Ndegwa.

This was done in full collaboration with committee members and stakeholders whose bids are being considered for award.

During the exercise, submitted bids were formally opened and recorded in the presence of bidders and observers in accordance with public procurement regulations.

The tender opening process is a key step in ensuring transparency and fairness in the evaluation and award of contracts.

Through this process, KeNHA continues to uphold the principles of accountability, integrity, and openness while ensuring that procurement procedures support the delivery of quality road infrastructure and services across the region.
