A section of Lang’ata Road near Nyayo Stadium Roundabout will be closed on Sunday, March 20, from 4:00 am to 2:00 pm to pave way to allow for the construction of the Nyayo footbridge.
This is according to a statement by the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA).
“We wish to inform the public that a section of Lang’ata Road at the Nyayo Stadium Roundabout will experience disruptions.”
They have advised Nairobi-bound traffic to take the Aerodrome Road into the Uhuru Highway, while Langata-bound traffic has been diverted into the Langata-Nairobi bound lane.
KeNHA has asked motorists to adhere to the proposed traffic management plans and work with traffic marshals on the ground.
Further, KeNHA reminded motorists to be cautious and courteous on the road in order to improve traffic management.
