KeNHA To Close Thika Road Section for 40 Days

Kenya National Highway Authority has announced closure of a section of Thika-Garissa (A3) Road at the Yatta Virtual Weigh bridge.

This is to pave way for the construction of a concreate pavement for the Yatta Virtual Weighbridge.

According to KeNHA Director General Eng. Kung’u Ndung’u, the road will be closed from Saturday April 9 to Saturday May 7, 2022, at a distance of approximately 20+300 Km from Kilimambogo.

Motorists have been asked to take caution and adhere to the suggested traffic management plan while cooperating with police and traffic marshals on site.

They will be guided to the diversion as shown in the drawing below.
