The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) has cautioned motorists plying the Isiolo-Marsabit -Moyale road of a flooding incident at Logo Logo area towards Marsabit where sections of the road have been overtopped by water.
In a statement by KeNHA’s Director General Eng. Kung’u Ndung’u, the affected area is 68km from Merille River and is due to the heavy downpour experienced earlier on Wednesday morning at Karare and Korr areas along the road.
“The public is advised to exercise caution when driving along this road both during the day and night,” KeNHA advised.
KeNHA also encouraged motorists to allow water to subside before crossing the affected area.
“KeNHA, led by the Corridor C team, is on-site to ensure safety of the motorists.”
