Kenya Airways Grounds Planes For Maintenance Until July 6

Passengers intending to use the Kenya Airways planes to travel will have to wait until Thursday, July 6, after KQ grounded all its planes for maintenance.

The announcement was made on Monday via a statement.

“We would like to advise our guests on expected flight schedule changes due to bad weather resulting in turn-backs/ diversion and three of our aircraft undergoing unscheduled technical maintenance,” the statement read.

As a result, by the evening of Monday, July 3, all aircraft had been returned to service.

Kenya Airways, on the other hand, assured customers that they are working around the clock to restore normalcy to the flight schedule and apologised for any inconvenience.

“We will send communication and updates to all affected guests directly by message or email,” they said.
