Kenya Airways Plane Suffers Birdstrike In Kisumu

A Kenya Airways flight KQ 670 was involved in a bird strike incident on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at around 6:36 PM while landing at Kisumu International Airport. 

The incident resulted in the aircraft being temporarily immobilized on the runway due to damage to the steering components. 

Thankfully, all passengers and crew onboard disembarked safely.

The airline is working with authorities to remove the aircraft and resume normal operations at the airport. 

Passengers affected by the incident will be provided with updates and assistance as needed.
