The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Susan Nakhumicha, met with the Kenya End Malaria Council’s executive board in an effort to end malaria in Kenya by 2030.

In Kenya, malaria is still a significant public health issue, and the ambitious aim of eradicating the illness by 2030 calls for coordinated measures.

The focus of the conversation was how to involve the corporate sector, mobilise resources, advocate for change, and take concrete steps to accomplish this.

The Kenya End Malaria Council and the Ministry of Health are dedicated to collaborating to raise funds and put in place successful plans to achieve this goal.

The importance of the business sector in coordinating coordinated efforts to end malaria in Kenya was emphasised during the discussion.

In conclusion the Cabinet Secretary urged the council to continue collaborating with the Ministry of Health towards a malaria-free Kenya.
