Based on 66 new infections from 1,833 tests, the Ministry of Health recorded a 3.6 percent COVID-19 positivity score on Monday, the lowest in as many days.
The latest infections bring the total number of cases in the world to 163,620, with 1,721,122 samples checked so far.
According to the Ministry, 65 of the latest cases include Kenyans, while one involves a tourist.
45 men and 21 women, ranging in age from six months to 81 years, have been infected with the new strain.
There are currently 1,122 patients in different health facilities in the region, with 4,783 on Home Based Isolation and Care.
Another 89 patients require supplemental oxygen, 83 of whom are in general wards and 6 in High Dependency Units (HDU).
In terms of County distribution; Nairobi 32, Kisii 11, Meru 5, Uasin Gishu 4, Nakuru 3, Elegyo Marakwet 1, Homa Bay 1, Kakamega 1, Kericho 1, Kiambu 1, Laikipia 1, Mombasa 1, Nandi 1, Nyandarua 1, Trans Nzoia 1 and Turkana 1.
Meanwhile, 1,737 patients have recovered from the disease, with 1,580 coming from Home Based and Isolation Care and 157 from various health facilities across the country.
The total number of recoveries is now 112,298.
Home-based care and isolation account for 82,138 of the total recoveries, while various health facilities account for 30,790.
At the same time, 12 people have died in the last 24 hours. One death occurred within the last month, and 11 late deaths reports were discovered during facility record audits.
This brings the total number of fatalities to 2,907.
