A presiding officer has been detained at the Kacheliba police station after being allegedly tampering with the presidential results.
Makal Benjamin is the presiding officer from Kacheliba Constituency, West Pokot.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) stated in a statement released on Wednesday, August 10, that it was closely monitoring the situation before bringing the required charges.
The ODPP stated that it was closely observing the electoral process to make sure that justice was done.
