Kenya Is Doing Well—President Ruto Urges Kenyans to Ignore Criticism

President William Ruto has called on Kenyans to ignore skeptics and remain optimistic about the country’s economic recovery and growth.

Speaking on Sunday at the United Pentecostal Church of Kenya in Dagoretti North, Ruto emphasized that Kenya is on a steady trajectory of recovery, despite the challenges it faces.

In his remarks, Ruto acknowledged the presence of individuals wishing ill upon the nation but expressed confidence that Kenya will not falter. “Kenya is strong and will develop. We are going to go places,” he declared, asserting that the country is in a better and more stable position than it was two years ago.

The President highlighted the recent achievements of his administration, including the stabilization of food prices and advancements in affordable housing.

“Not many believed we would reduce food prices; not many believed we could do affordable housing, but we are doing it,” he remarked, urging citizens to disregard negative narratives that overlook the country’s progress.

Ruto insisted that the transformation of Kenya is a collective effort, transcending individual leadership. “This is not about anyone; it is not about me or the next leader of Kenya,” he said, underscoring the importance of uniting for the nation’s future.

He further articulated a sense of divine purpose in his leadership, stating that God has tasked him with the mission of leading Kenya’s transformation.

“We are making steady steps in the transformation of our nation. Forget the naysayers; Kenya is going to march forward steadily,” Ruto encouraged, inspiring hope among his supporters.

Accompanying the President were various leaders, including Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and several Members of Parliament, who joined in celebrating the message of resilience and faith in the nation’s future.
