Nakhumicha S. Wafula, the Cabinet Secretary for Health, hosted a delegation from the Gyeonggido provincial government in South Korea and Baringo County Governor Benjamin Cheboi to discuss Kenya’s partnership with South Korea in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
The Kenyan government plans to collaborate with South Korea through technological exchange, health financing, health management information systems, and health commodity security.
Kenya and Exim Bank reached an agreement last year to provide financing options for local production.
Baringo County Governor urged the Korean government to provide employment opportunities to graduates from local health training institutions.
