Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions in parts of Uasin Gishu and Kisumu counties on Thursday, June 11.

In a notice on Wednesday, June 8, the company said the outages are meant to facilitate routine maintenance works.

In Uasin Gishu County, the power interruption will affect the Kimoning and Chembulet areas from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

The areas scheduled to be affected include Kimoning, Kapkei, Sorng’etuny, Chembulet and all adjacent customers.

Meanwhile, in Kisumu County, customers in the Ojola area will experience a power outage from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

The interruption is expected to affect Ojola DC, Ojola Market and adjacent customers.
