Kenya Railways to Showcase Innovations at Siaya International Trade and Investment Conference 2025

Kenya Railways Managing Director Philip Mainga today hosted Siaya Governor James Orengo at the corporation’s headquarters in Nairobi, where they discussed potential partnerships aimed at spurring regional economic growth.

During the meeting, Governor Orengo extended an exclusive invitation to Kenya Railways to participate in the upcoming Siaya International Trade and Investment Conference (SITICO) 2025, scheduled for October 14–17.

The high-profile event will bring together global investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators to explore business opportunities and foster economic collaboration.

Kenya Railways is expected to use the platform to showcase its latest innovations and infrastructure developments, underscoring its critical role in driving trade facilitation and economic transformation in Kenya and the wider region.

Both parties expressed optimism about the collaboration, with the corporation reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable growth and position Kenya as a regional logistics and investment hub.
