Kenya Recieves Ksh 44Million Test Kits From Germany

Health PS Susan Mochache received a donation of Covid-19 testing Kits from the German Government & the Aga Khan University Hospital towards combating Covid-19 at Kenya Medical Research Institute.

The 20,000 testing kits valued at Ksh 44 million were presented by the German Ambassador to Kenya Annett Gunter and AKUN Interim CEO Rashid Khalani.

“This consignment will go a long way in supporting the Kenya Government’s response to the pandemic,” the PS said.

Total confirmed positive cases now stand at 141,365, while cumulative tests so far conducted are 1,530,736.

Kenya averagely tests a little over 2,000 people in a day for COVID-19, while currently fighting for COVID-19 test kits to test its citizens.
