Kenya’s national rugby 7s team lost to the USA 26-19 in a Challenge Trophy 11th place playoff match on Sunday night.
They settled for a twelfth-place finish at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Damian McGrath-coached team lost their final game of the tournament despite looking to be in control of the game thanks to two goals from USA speedster Perry Baker in the second half that upended the desired script.
