Paddy Ahenda, Kenya’s ambassador to Qatar, has died.
According to his family who confirmed his death on Monday, April 4, the ambassador succumbed to heat stroke and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Doha, Qatar .
Before his appointment to Qatar in October 2018, Ahenda had previously served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Kabondo Kasipul from 2005 to 2007, following the death of his predecessor Peter Owidi.
Ahenda’s death comes just two months after Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Wilfred Machage, passed away.
