Was Caroline Kangogo murdered and the scene set up to look like a suicide? This is what is playing put in social media
A photo of a lady holding a Cesca pistol is trending on social media, rending credence that the fugitive cop was gunned down by unknown assailants.
The late corporal was on the run after the murder of her two alleged lovers, both police officers.

She was traced to her rural home in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
According to Rift Valley Police Commissioner George Natembeya, Corporal Kangogo allegedly committed suicide in her bathroom, and the photo shows her holding a pistol.\
Police officers were puzzled as to why the family did not hear the gunshot, despite them living 40 meters away from the bathroom in which she was found.
He added that her cellphone signal was lost when she disposed of her sim card and switched off her phone.

Prior to her death, Kangogo was given amnesty to surrender to any police station but elected not to, occasioning the manhunt and sensationalization of her character.
Seasoned lawyer John Khaminwa had offered to represent her in court, on behalf of the Law Society of Kenya, which argued that she had her rights as a suspect.
The Kangogo ‘suicide’ is being compared to that of former Minister Robert Ouko in 1990. Mr. Ouko allegedly shot himself….broke his own legs…before setting himself ablaze. This was according to a police report.
Ouko’s charred remains were discovered at the foot of Got Alila.
The incident has rekindled flames against the police service who have long been on the spot for extra-judicial killings on persons of interest.
