On Tuesday Jalango a Kiss FM presenter launched a fundraiser for Mercy Atieno who is known for the song I don’t give a damn.
Jalango offered to giver 50k for a start he then gave out her number on his YouTube page Bonga na Jalas urging his loyal fans to reach out and help her out
On Wednesday Kenyans had raise 179k for Mercy said Jalang’o in an interview on Tuesday with Jalas she narrates on how she lost her brother in 2004 while still in the US. for her to be in the US mercy had gotten a chance to further her studies there but she ended up selling books and she was kicked out of school.
She also added that she was homeless and she was abused severally while sleeping in the streets .she was then jailed for five years before being deported back to Kenya in hospital robes.
She also told that she lost her parents and she is now a mother of two and netizens went on to troll her for doing music.
She sent Jalas a message telling him that she was able to pay all her bills settle all her debts and also loans and she is really grateful for the people who helped her out.
