Kenyan runners swept Both the men’s and women’s categories in the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon.
Titus Ekiru, the world’s fastest man in the marathon category in 2021, took first place with a time of 2.06.13.
In the history of the men’s marathon, Ekiru is now ranked fifth best in the world.
His career milestones include winning the Milano Marathon in 2021, the Honolulu Marathon in 2019, the Mexico City Marathon in 2018, and the Seville Marathon in 2017.
In the meantime, Judith Jeptum Korir won the women’s race in 2.22.30.
