The award will exclusively reward artists and film producers who play their part in promoting the board mandate in producing clean content.
Speaking at the event in Nairobi’s Hilton Hotel, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua said the project will be apart of KFCB’s drive for creatives to protect children from clean content and uphold the African society norms.
KFCB also announced that the winners will bag not less than 1 Million shillings, and a myriad of opportunities both locally and internationally.
The award will also aim at rejuvenating the local creative industry that is still writhing from distress caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Through the handsome reward, KFCB will reaffirm its decision to support local content, and provide avenues for Kenyan creatives to air their content that promotes Kenyan cultures.
The select committee will include Youtube Aggregators will feature; Thomas Mahondo, who is the CEO for Ngomma, a premium content aggregator platform and Calif Records CEO, Clement “Clemo” Rapudo, among others.
