Kiambu: Four People Arrested In Possession Of 15 Elephant Tusks

Four people have been arrested and 15 pieces of elephant tusks recovered following an intelligence-led operation in Wangige, Kiambu county last night.

The 15 pieces of elephant tusks were recovered in an operation between the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Kenya Wildlife Service personnel.

The four suspects are Daniel Musembi Kimilu, Michael Kimeru Karanja, Charles Njomo Okwach and Jane Wangui Kiarie.

They are currently being held at King’eero police station pending arraignment in court.
